Blog

The blog its where we delve deeper into specific topics. You might see information about cases that are court-involved, to help you understand why you don't want to go down that path. You might read about how child support works in juvenile court vs. family law court.

But you might also hear about fun (and often free!) things to do with your kids; success stories, and other positive posts.

And again—if there's something you'd like to know more about, let us know!

Serve Iowa is...

  • A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
  • We help fill in the smaller, family-specific gaps between what families need to be successful and what DHS can provide.
  • We stop smallish problems from turning into insurmountable barriers.

Serve Iowa is not...

  • DHS (or affiliated with DHS)
  • FSRP
  • a direct service provider; we help fund the small things you need, but we don't provide them.
  • able to do the BIG stuff; that's up to DHS to do or help you figure out how to do
